Chiefeater VK reports a major upgrade at Sate Carjunk, where the beef satay now matches the standard of their chicken

Thai, Non-Halal
I wasn’t expecting too much when I ordered the chicken feet kerabu from Ah Ma Mookata, but it turned out to be a memorable little dish—bright, tangy, and unapologetically fiery.
Jen had the Pad Kra Pow or Thai Basil Minced Pork rice which left her tongue on fire.

The chicken feet were deboned, cleanly prepped, and delightfully gelatinous, soaking up the punchy dressing made from lime juice, chilli, garlic, and fish sauce. Sliced red onions added a sharpness that cut through the richness, while coriander leaves lent a fresh herbal lift. Dried chillies bobbed menacingly in the mixture, but they weren’t just for show—this kerabu carries serious heat, even though I ordered the mild version.

It’s the kind of salad that slaps you awake with every bite—crunchy, zesty, spicy, and highly addictive if you’re into bold Thai style flavours. This one pairs well with cold drinks or rice, but it also stands strongly on its own as a fiery appetiser or side dish.
Just a note for anyone with a gentler palate: order the mildest version and still be prepared for a bit of a burn.
