Hanabi Udini Square Lunch
Japanese
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater Russ King Karl had a good time catching up with friends over a Japanese lunch at Hanabi Udini Square

Nasi Lemak, Pork-Free
Airplane food doesn’t usually get much praise, but AirAsia’s Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak defies expectations. For something served 30,000 feet in the air, it’s actually quite good. The rice was fragrant enough, the anchovies crispy, and most importantly, the sambal was savoury—not sweet—a detail many nasi lemak stalls don’t even get right.

At RM20.90, it’s also a better deal than what you’d find at many airport cafés, where RM25 might get you a sad sandwich and a cup of generic coffee. Plus, this is comfort food that travels well—compact, filling, and flavourful. If you’re flying with AirAsia and skipping this dish because it’s “just airline food,” you might be missing out on one of the better meal options up in the sky.
