Chiefeater Luke Soon tried the sang har meen at Canton-i Restaurant Gardens after its renovation and rated it 6 out of 10

Western, Fine Dining
Checked out the world’s 1st AP Cafe at Raffles Hotel. The cafe offers savoury bites from Burnt Ends.

The chicken rice club sandwich was quite unique and came with the local chilli sauce that usually comes with chicken rice.

For the sweets we tried the chestnut Swiss roll with honey ice cream which was their signature dessert, the hazelnut crunch and the calamansi tart. Overall both savouries and sweets were good but very pricey.

The 3 savouries and 3 cakes with just 1 coffee and sparkling water costs SGD200!
We proceeded to the AP House next door and I must say it was really luxurious and different from other luxury watch stores. Not only did they have a bar, there was also a dining table, billiard table and a music room! The beautiful watches were housed in glass displays and apparently you need to make an appointment with a consultant if you wish to try any of the watches. With so many luxury brands opening cafes of their own in Singapore, we’re definitely spoilt for choice!
