Italian, Pork-Free
a'roma Dinings has been a fixture for some time now. My initial visit in 2016 was more about assessing its event space potential, and I distinctly remember not quite appreciating the concept of al-dente spaghetti back then. I have come to see the error of my ways and thankfully have been rehabilitated. However, my recent return with fellow food enthusiast, Chiefeater Ian Shoon, offered a chance for a fresh perspective.

Ian opted for a spaghetti dish, and it seems he made the right choice. Served al-dente, the pasta was cooked to perfection according to his taste. The prawns accompanying the dish were generously portioned, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

As for my choice, I went for a beef pepperoni pizza (RM46), but unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The thin and hard bready crust was unexpected from an Italian cuisine restaurant, and it detracted from my overall experience. That's not to say they were not generous with toppings. They certainly were. It's just not how I like my pizza.

Despite the mixed reviews of our respective dishes, the lunch tab came to RM143, which is in line with the average pricing for such a dining establishment.
In conclusion, while a'Roma dinings has its strengths, particularly in their al-dente spaghetti and generous portion sizes.
