Chiefeater David Quah enjoyed exceptional value meal at Yakiniku Tenshin Gurney Paragon and especially the Wagyu

Nyonya Cuisine, Pork-Free
Introducing Auntie May Nyonya Kopitiam, newly opened a week ago at Elit Avenue, Bayan Baru, next to James Foo Western Food. Love the menu - So many tempting dishes to try. Settling into our very late lunch, we got the nyonya sambal seafood rice set and the ponteh chicken homemade noodle.
Nyonya sambal seafood rice set with side dishes: pickled sour cucumber, joo hoo char, papadam and braised chicken soup

Ponteh chicken handmade noodle with fishball soup - hearty springy noodles

Top up RM3 for a drink with rice set and we chose the pandan lemon grass drink to go with it.
Pandan lemongrass drink - bit sweet and lovely fragrant infusion of pandan and lemongrass.

What a surprise, we also received a complimentary mini polo butter bun being still the restaurant's promotional introductory week.

Nyonya seafood sambal - fish, prawn and squid rings with ladies fingers. Yummy sambal with lots of turmeric and asam flavour

Joo hoo char - excellent with the spicy sambal belacan

Will definitely come back again to try their interesting bread and toast series and desserts. Lovely for brunch and teatime treats.
