Pizza, Non-Halal
Back at Beyond the Dough Pizzeria. The Buffalo Marguerite was on point as usual 7.5/10.

The meatballs from my last review was also 7/10
The fried chicken was admittedly a little underwhelming for me 6/10
Still prefer the gingerish batter done traditionally. This rendition had rosemary.

Anchovy butter, prawns and mushroom – chef’s random pizza. Chef Eddie Murakami’s genius continues! Undeniable. The Tokyo style Neapolitan pizzas are light and fluffy famous ; the world over. But today, the chef’s rendition of his random (aka Omakase) pizza was a masterstroke. The anchovy butter was a game changer. The random pizza was 8/10.

I’ve done a more time in depth review of Beyond the Dough by Chef Murakami before. There’s more Japanese pizza chefs setting up shop here in Singapore – it’s becoming (Tokyo style Neapolitan pizza) a thing – but chef Murakami the pioneer very much holds his own.
Tables aren’t easy to get so make sure to reserve well (weeks) in advance.
