Breakfast this morning at Myan, a shallot oil noodle stall inside BK Cafe, the busy kopitiam near Perak Road Market.

Scallion oil noodles (Mandarin: 葱油拌面/cōng yóu bàn miàn) originated in Shanghai, and is a daily street food staple of the Shanghainese working-class.
