Hachiban Izakaya Kelawai Road Dinner
Japanese
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater Paula Tan had a delicious izakaya dinner at Hachiban Izakaya Kelawai Road and summed it up simply as oishi

Mexican, Pork-free
Botanica+Co @ Alila Bangsar is currently having a Mexican Fiesta with a special menu from 1 Oct to 30 Nov 2022. We had the Big Amigos Platter (RM158++) which is a sizeable spread for 4. However, not every item was a winner. The roast chicken was a bit too dry. The meatballs, while having a good texture, lacked seasoning. The stuffed bell peppers were interesting but again lacked the strong flavours expected of Mexican cuisine.

The winner of the night for me at Botanica+Co @ Alila Bangsar was the Jalapeño Michelada (RM38++) (made of Tequila, Jalapeno, Strawberry Syrup, Sugar Syrup, Lime Juice & Pasteurised Egg White) which had a real spicy zing. Not something I expected of a cocktail and definitely a pleasant surprise.
Botanica+Co has two outlets but I prefer the one at Alila Bangsar, though the parking is expensive. I find the food generally better at Alila from personal experience, though there will be those who would beg to differ.

Get off at the LRT Bangsar stop.
