Pizza, Non-Halal
I was finishing up a meeting at Megah Rise Mall one evening and was walking towards the train station. On my way, I passed Bottega PJ and thought that halving pizzas for dinner would be a good idea. So I took away 2 pizzas and brought it with me on the train. Since it was close to 5 pm, I stood almost all the way back to Puchong.
The pizza made the journey and the subsequent wait time before dinner quite well. It was a good 2 hours before we consumed it and it still tasted good, even if it was no longer warm.
The Saucisse Pizza (RM40++) and the Pecaminosa Pizza (RM40++) were what I ordered.
The Pecaminosa Pizza in the foreground
The Saucisse Pizza had sausages in it,while the Pecaminosa Pizza had sardines. I am always fond of sausages so there are no guesses as to which pizza I would prefer. The sardines however was delightful too. The sardines giving a nice briny savouriness to the pizza.
The Saucisse Pizza
At RM40++ per pizza, these are average price that you would pay for a decent pie in PJ. But the quality was above average. Quite possibly, Bottega PJ serves the best artisanal pizzas in PJ even though they were not baked in a wood fire pizza oven.
The only bummer was that I did not have any beer to have this with that night.
