Lunch at Canton Kitchen Happy Garden
Cantonese
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater VK enjoyed a meal at Canton Kitchen Happy Garden, finding the dishes to be better than expected, particularly the complex curry

Chinese, Non-Halal
Together with 5 friends, we made our way from Melaka to this small Cantonese new village called Air Kuning Selatan. It took us about an hour to reach. Kenny recommended this place, famous for its fresh water fish and prawns.

The “soon hock” steam fish cost RM110.00/kg. Jason, another cari makan kaki said it cost a lot more in KL. (I know it cost RM200/kg in Karak)

The Cantonese rice wine chicken was RM50.00/bowl. Was a bit sour in taste. So different from our Hakka version which is sweet.

The steam river prawns cost RM120/kg (RM150/kg at Karak)

It was a great lunch.
