Hot Pot
High end China hotpot strikes again at Chamoon Hot Pot! This time around I tried their mala soup base. Definitely not to be missed as well! There’s a marked difference between this mala soup base and what we’ve been having over the years (many other brands offer it). Hard to describe, just that it tastes smoother and more refined – you get all the kicks but won’t get the spikes or inconsistencies in flavours.
It’s more nutty and herbaceous and overall, you can taste its hand-made ( or prepared fresh daily). Nothing else to update – the ingredients are top notch as expected. Chamoon really means business, and is probably one of the best (for now) hotpot offerings in town.

Their superior customer experience – how they prepare and serve each ingredient – is very slick as well. If Haidilao has the theatrics then this would be opera.
