Baked Eggs, Pork-Free
Crema or if you want to call it by its full name, Crema Pasticceria Moderna, is a stunning looking eatery located within KL’s vibrant Asian Heritage Row. Boasting a picturesque interior setting and an inviting al-fresco area, it will lend itself well to events.

Curious to explore after it had been brought to my attention by Chiefeater David Lee, I ventured there for breakfast and opted for the Uova E Salsiccia (RM32). The Uova E Salsiccia was a delightful baked eggs dish featuring lamb sausage and mushrooms. Well-executed and bursting with robust flavours from the lamb sausage that elevated the overall taste profile. The baked eggs were nicely done with yolks still runny enough for me to dip the bread in. This was a savoury and satisfying start to the day.

Amidst the tempting display of pastries, we couldn’t resist indulging a bit more.

Jen opted for the Cannoli priced at RM10, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The pastries at Crema Cafe not only looked exquisite but also delivered on taste, adding an extra layer of sweetness to our breakfast experience.

Together with drinks the bill totalled RM74.25. A reasonable sum considering the quality of the food and the charming ambiance. Crema Cafe’s attention to flavour and presentation, coupled with its inviting atmosphere, makes it a notable spot for breakfast or leisurely gatherings in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s bustling heritage district.
