Chiefeater Pat Lim found the food at Nam Hing Loong Restaurant in Temoh to be so good and best of all, it was affordable too

Steamed Fish, Chinese, Non-Halal
On a working trip in Cheras, and since it was lunch time, look up Google and found good reviews about Dai Be Steamed Fish Head Restaurant. We had the steamed fish head with preserved radish (菜脯蒸松鱼头). The fish head was fresh and was perfectly steamed, with some soya sauce, and topped with generous amount of preserved radish and bits of crispy pork lard.

We also had the braised pig trotter with black vinegar (猪脚醋), salted fish bean sprout (咸鱼芽菜) and steamed eggs (蒸水蛋). The braised pig trotter with black vinegar was tasty, the meat was tender, with just the right amount of sourness, with a hint of sweetness.

The bean sprout was fat and crunchy, and anything with salted fish would gets a thumb up from me. Steamed eggs was silky smooth, with a some soya sauce, and with a nice aroma of sesame oil.

There are several other stalls at Dai Be Steamed Fish Head Restaurant, selling Char Koay Tiau, pan mee and other noodles. Service was acceptable, and price was reasonable. Parking could be troublesome during peak hours. Will be back to try other variety of steamed fish head.
