Chinese, Steamed Fish Head, Non-Halal
Today I get to sample this femes Steam Fish Head at which Ive heard long ago but no chance to makan yet. This place is call New Mun Kee Steam Fish Head oso got serve other dai chow dishes geh. Got few branches in Puchong, PJ, and Pudu but this one at Taman Gembira is probably the most popular one. By the roadside & simple set up, quite comfortable space & reasonably clean. Need come early geh as oredy full jor at 6pm on a Saturday evening, but lucky we were able to get table since we just five pax. I think better do make booking if u have a larger group.
Steamed Soong fish head is the most popular here, oso got other varieties of dish geh. We decided to order one Asam & one ChengJing or Ginger Steamed Fish Head, Claypot kangkung & fried salted jiken.
Verdict, housek & daisek geh. Me eat fish very yimcim about fish freshness geh but here the fish was actually housansin/fresh & cooked nicely to keep me satisfied. I wish they added more cili padi for extra kick lor.
Overall, we enjoyed & satisfied. Price is RM145. i think its reasonably acceptable lor.
After dinner, still early around 8pm oni so we go makan dessert, after dessert we go beer. What a night huh. Saturday night fever mah.
