Chiefeater Luke Soon found the claypot yee mee and the fuchuk at Jeng Pan Mee SS2 to be quite good

Hot Pot, Non-Halal
We ordered two types of broths — the Pork Bone Broth and the Suan Chai Broth. The pork bone broth was clear, light, and comforting, while the suan chai version, with its orangey hue, carried that appetising tang of pickled vegetables that really warms you up.
Pork Bone Broth

Suan Chai Broth

Our ingredient selection included beef balls, pork slices, vegetables, jellyfish, and fu chuk. Everything tasted fresh and clean, and the portions were generous.

Iberico Slices (RM12.80)

Fish

The beef balls were the standout — tender, juicy, and full of flavour, with a satisfying bite that held together even after cooking.

The jellyfish was another pleasant surprise — lightly chewy and exceptionally fresh, adding a unique texture contrast to the meal.

Both broths paired beautifully with the ingredients. The pork bone broth was soothing and delicate, while the suan chai broth had a tangy, savoury depth that made it hard to stop ladling more.
There’s a reason why Ditan Hot Pot almost always has a queue. Even arriving before 7 pm, we managed to grab the last available table — a testament to how much the locals love it.
The ingredients are of excellent quality, the broths are well-balanced, and the dining experience is as comforting as it is hearty. It’s the kind of meal that feels indulgent without being overly heavy — perfect for cooler evenings or when you just want a satisfying, warming dinner.
The total came up to RM134.50 for two pax, which felt fair considering the quality and freshness of the ingredients.
