Our first time ever trying a T-Bone steak at Emily’s Steakhouse Penang, and (for the price) this was one of the best deals in town, with a package offer of just RM238 for a 2-person set lunch!

Considering it was Christmas Eve, and we both weren’t working on the day, Felicia decided to give me a treat!

The steak arrived with 2 medium sized Tiger Prawns, a side of fries mixed with chips, a bowl of peas, a deliciously buttery portobello mushroom and onion rings, (battered and fried to perfection!) We ordered our steak medium, and we were very pleased with our choice. The meat was tender, juicy and seasoned to perfection!
Our only grouse was that the fat-cap on the strip loin side of the T-Bone was rather thick, and not seared off enough. This made for a couple of really chewy mouthfuls…

Their free dessert was a chocolate brownie, served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. This went down nicely with the freshly brewed coffee we ordered.

Overall a very satisfying experience. 4 out of 5 stars.
