Burger
One of the joys of dining out is stumbling upon a recommendation from complete strangers. I had walked into FEEKA at The Five fully intending to order their fried chicken. As I was browsing the menu, the table next to me received their burger. I asked of them if it was good and he mentioned, “You should try the burger. It’s good.”
That was all the convincing I needed. I’m glad I listened.
The Double Smashed Burger (RM36) arrived looking every bit like the kind of burger you want to get both hands around. Two well-seared beef patties, melted cheddar, fresh lettuce and house sauce were sandwiched between a glossy brioche bun, served with a generous portion of fries.

The patties had a satisfying crust while remaining juicy inside, giving the burger plenty of beefy flavour without being overly greasy. The cheese and sauce complemented rather than overwhelmed the meat, resulting in a nicely balanced burger.

The only downside was the bun. It simply didn’t have enough structure to hold everything together. Halfway through the meal it had started to crumble, turning what began as a neat burger into something that required a few more napkins than expected. It’s a small issue, but one that’s worth addressing because the filling itself deserves better support.
The accompanying fries were well cooked with a crisp exterior and fluffy centre.
Sometimes changing your order at the last minute turns out to be the right decision. The burger alone makes a compelling reason to visit FEEKA at The Five. If they can improve the structural integrity of the bun, it would made an already very enjoyable burger into an excellent one.

Modern café with a relaxed atmosphere that’s equally suitable for lunch catch-ups, coffee catch-ups or a leisurely meal. However be prepared for a lot of noise during lunch as it is really busy.

The burger patty was really good as was the accompanying fries.
