Pastry, Pork-Free
Sometimes, airport dining throws a curveball. Case in point: the Apple Lattice at Flight Club KKIA, which comes not with cream, not with ice cream, but with… a side salad. Yes, you read that right—leafy greens, sitting next to a sweet apple-filled pastry.
Why? Honestly, I have no idea. How do they go together? They don’t. It’s a pairing that leaves you pondering the mysteries of airport F&B decisions. The apple lattice itself is alright—crispy layers with warm spiced apple inside—but that salad feels like it wandered in from another plate entirely.
The nasi lemak looked ok.

That said, the space is lovely. It’s styled like an airport lounge, complete with comfy seating and a relaxed ambience. Which makes sense once you realise Flight Club is run by the Plaza Premium Lounge group. So while the food pairing might be questionable, the vibe and setting are undeniably pleasant—especially if you’re looking for a quiet spot to relax before your flight.
