Chiefeater AS Lim found the chicken chop at Restoran Sin Tai Chew to be yummy with UFO tart being a bonus item

Japanese, Non-Halal
At Fuji Sushi Niseko Branch. Niseko is not Japanese, but Australian. Over the years the Southerners have terraformed this ski village into a ‘global’ powder run destination. That also means the locals have to move out further into neighbouring / cheaper towns to survive. This was the first place we ate at in Niseko a decade ago - and today, bcos we were lazy to drive out, decided to stroll 5mins to this tourist trap. Or so we thought.
We went with (very) low expectations and tried to order stuff that didn’t require (much) cooking - if that makes sense.
I had the seafood pot. Which was above average at 6.5/10

The deep fried oysters was also quite good at 6.5/10

The evergreen pork katsu dishes were ok esp if you’re hungry from the slopes
But a word of caution, the drinks eg sake are priced 2-3x above the Seicomart next door. Total damage was SGD450 vs the very memorable Toppi at Otaru which was SGD150.
