Day 3 Food Tasting ended with Chef Hoo Yoon Sun from Genting Garden Hotpot at Resorts World Genting. A great finish for our tasting marathon as Chef Hoo prepared a 3-Course healthy menu:
1st Course
鲜菌炖浓汤
Double-boiled Fresh Mushroom Soup

2nd Course
黄金海上鲜
Steamed Red Grouper with Pumpkin Sauce

3rd Course
錦簇满庭
Stir-fried Mixed Vegetable with Sea Cucumber
(Ingredients – Taro, Yam, Chinese Yam, Pumpkin, Water Chestnut, Kailan Stem, Carrots, Sea Cucumber, Arrowhead)

It was a simple, not too heavy and healthy menu. Good for those who enjoy simplicity of fresh ingredients. We ended our tasting session with a walkthrough of their eco garden. An in-house garden where guests can pick their preferred vegetables for their hot pot dinner or even to buy for home consumption. This is the only Restaurant-Eco Garden in Asia. Nice!
