Beef Wellington, Souffle, Dessert
Gordon Ramsay’s Bar & Grill. Over rated or exquisite?
At least one person I know has said it is a fantastic experience and equal to some of the best restaurants he has been to in the region. I don’t think I would agree but there are some stand out dishes. The haddock soufflé (the first picture) and the apple tartine dessert would be worth a visit. The soufflé was so incredibly light in the mouth, it felt like it was vaporising as I put it in for a bite. The apple tartine left such a sweet refreshing delight on our palates that if we were to come back, that would be one of the dishes that we would definitely order again.
The Beef Wellington which is a Gordon Ramsay’s Bar & Grill signature dish. Perhaps it is because it missed out on a pork ham ingredient that would have added an extra bit of flavour to it. All in the lunch for the 3 of us came up to over RM1,700.
