Kai See Hor Fun, Non-Halal
We got to Ipoh Ipoh Cafe just before the lunch time crowd came in. We ordered the standard kai see hor fun, while my son order their chicken /char siew rice. Also ordered a side dish of lobak and Pork Wantan. Was very tempted to try the coffee, but adopted for plain water as son wanted to take us to a dessert shop after lunch. Limiting my sugar intake.

The broth was really yummy, authentic and well flavoured. I just love the broth and the hor fun was equally delicious with its fine texture. The dish also came with two big fresh succulent prawns.

The Char Siew chicken rice was delightful delicious and very similar to the better ones serve in Ipoh.

The Pork Wantan with the broth was nice but just average for me.

I truly enjoyed the Lobak as it nicely done - not too oily, the skin was crispy and the fillings was great.

The environment was clean and service was pretty fast and prompt. Parking and traffic is a big hassle on weekends. Suggest to park about two block (near residence area) away and walk to the restaurant. Overall, enjoyed our first visit to this place and would surely be back to savour the other dishes as they have quite an extensive menus. And will surely order their coffee the next time. Moreover the food here is pretty authentic, tasty and similar to the ones in Ipoh.
