Western, Non-Halal
At Jack Western Cuisine. selling western food only. actually i don’t really like western food (except pasta) but i go anyway since it is new. it opened on 10 september
name of the restaurant is ‘jack western cuisine’. i understand that this is the georgetown branch. there had been one already, in existence since 2008 and the restaurant is at paya terubong, air itam.
the restaurant is located at the corner of terengganu rd and solok terengganu, hence it takes up a very big space. dining area is open concept, half out in the open area and half under the shade. it is just next to lye lye foodcourt, hence you can park your car at the parking spot behind the foodcourt.

the place is big and spacious and seatings were spread out. the minute you enter, you will notice the giant menu sign on the aluminium wall. surprise to see a stage near the counter. so i suppose that means there will be live music/entertainment. there are also two giant TV high up.

close up of the giant menu

went with 3 friends. i picked grilled fish with the ‘indiana (western curry)’ sauce as i haven’t try such a sauce before. i thought with the word ‘curry’ there, it would be spicy but no, sauce is not spicy. it was quite good though as it was not watery which i fear. overall taste was good. all my 3 friends who try the food like them and said good.
grilled fish with indiana (western curry) sauce. RM18.00

chicken maryland. RM17.00

tempura chicken nuggets (6 pcs). RM7.00

mr jack himself, the owner/boss. nice friendly young man that we got to talk to when leaving.

there is a QR code menu on every table but they do provide hardcopy menu too. however for ordering, you have to order only via the QRr code. the menu, as you will notice, are the usual standard common western food.
