Dim Sum
Dim Sum at Jade Dragon, which has taken over from the former Dim Sum at Odette, remains every bit as satisfying as before. The standout of the meal was the Fried White Carrot Cake (Loh Pak Kou, RM12) — beautifully seared with deep wok hei, yet soft and bouncy within. It had that elusive combination of crisp exterior and pillowy centre that only comes from skilled frying over high heat.
Alongside that, the dim sum staples — Siew Mai (RM9), Char Siew Bao (RM9), Chicken Feet (RM9), and Prawn Dumplings (RM9) — were consistently executed, fresh, and not overly oily. The total bill for four came to RM123.21, including tea and service, which is fair given the portion size and quality.

The Lo Pak Kou truly stole the spotlight. It had good wok hei and tasted really good. Each bite gave both crisp texture and tender softness, while the bits of egg and chives tied the dish together perfectly. The rest of the dim sum complemented it well, but the wok-fired carrot cake made this visit memorable.
