Dinner with my makan friends on Saturday at Jing Cheng Beijing Duck Restaurant at New Ocean World Fine Food City, Section 19 PJ. They have a 40% discount promo till 1 October 2025).

We pre-ordered the following dishes:
1. Roast Duck

Roast duck bones

2. Chicken popcorn with fresh fruits

3. Squirrel fish – siakap

4. Crab roe with white mushrooms

5. Braised cabbage with chesnut in saffron sauce

6. Gingko stir fried with lily

7. Onion and crab meat shredded rice salad

8. KungPao shrimp balls

9. Loofah, edamame, clams

10. Portuguese egg tarts

Dessert was red bean with sago and it was free, complimentary from the restaurant.

The restaurant also gave me a small bowl of longevity noodles with veggies and an egg FOC.

Everything was delicious, except the free bowl of noodle soup is bland, so needs soya sauce. My favourites were the roast duck, squirrel fish, loofa & edamame, gingko with lily, white mushrooms. For dessert, both the red bean with sago and the Portuguese egg tarts were delicious.
The service was impeccable, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. We highly recommend it.
