Roti Canai, Pork-Free
Again, I had roti jantan, this time at Kayu Nasi Kandar Nu Sentral. They call it roti telur double here. This roti was a delight, crispy and flavourful, significantly better than what I had in the last few weeks. The crispiness added a nice texture, making each bite satisfying.
However, there was a downside. They were quite stingy with the fish curry, which was disappointing. Fish curry is a key component that elevates the experience of eating roti, and I found myself wanting more. Thankfully, their dhall was also delicious, with a rich, comforting flavour that made up for the lack of fish curry. I made sure to consume every last drop of the dhall and curry with the roti, savouring the flavours.

One thing that stood out, though, was the pricing. At RM10.30 for a roti telur double (RM6.50), a teh o panas (RM3.20) and taxes, this meal falls into the premium category. Despite the cost, the experience was enjoyable. The ambiance at Kayu Nasi Kandar Nu Sentral adds to the dining experience, with a clean and welcoming environment. The staff were courteous, and the service was prompt, which is always a plus. If you don’t mind paying a bit extra for good quality roti in a clean and comfortable setting, this place is worth a visit. However, if you’re looking for value for money, you might want to explore other options.
