Mee Jawa, Street Food
Lunch at the hut next door to Kedai Kopi Lok Khoon. I have tried this Jawa Mee many times in the past. I came back again for it after having a nice bowl of Balik Pulau cendol and rojak.
Just RM6.00/plate.
It is not exactly sold at Lok Khoon but at the little wooden house just next to Lok Khoon. Squeezing that slice of lemon to extract the juice, made the gravy more appetizing. The gravy wasn't as sweet as some that I have tasted like the one at Eight Heng Food City or at New World Park.
The auntie who sells this Mee Jawa told me that she opens shop as early as 6:00 am (got nasi lemak) and closes at around 3pm each day.
It is closed on Monday.
