On the occasion you need a extra pick me up, head to Kedai Minuman & Makanan Bukit Emas that has a Herbal Noodles Soup. You can easily identify this stall as they will usually have a big steamer next the stall. Various herbs with choice of pork, chicken or duck will be steam in individual containers and Added to your noodles of choice.
For this occasion it was Chicken Drumstick with beehoon at our favourite Kopitiam at Butterworth. The slightly bitter soup with all the herbs hit the spot. While the chicken was fall off the bone yet firm enough. Do remember to finish the soup.
