Tang Jai Yoo Restaurant Teochew Dinner
Teochew
Chiefeater Patrick Sato Lee had a simple Teochew style dinner at Tang Jai Yoo Restaurant in Bangkok's Chinatown

Sar Hor Fun, Street Food, Non-Halal
What started as a “not a day where things goes right” @ breakfast turn out to be a “ok” day with a surprising food discovery. At Kedai Minuman & Makanan Bukit Emas, my usual breakfast is with Char Koey Teow or Koey Teow Thng. Today of all days, my mind, heart and tummy was thinking “CKT”, was suddenly disappointed when both of the stalls was closed. Even my wife’s favourite Herbal Noodles Soup was also close.
So I settled on the Sar Hor Fun Stall. Surprisingly, it was more than decent. It had enough “Wok Hei”. The Wat Tan Gravy was decent. Most stalls in Penang don’t do this right. And the amount of Pickle Chilies was ample. Pricing Affordable. Now I have an alternative dish to order at this place
