Big Breakfast
I recently had the Big Breakfast at Kim’s Bagels in Bandar Puteri Puchong. This bagel cafe, located along Jalan Puteri 5/12, is a cozy spot for those looking for hearty breakfast options beyond traditional local fare. This was an unexpected find and one that I am very glad to have visited.

The Big Breakfast provided a good-sized serving, particularly with the generous portions of protein.

The serving included juicy sausage, plentiful beef bacon, and notably thick slices of chicken ham.

The bagel was dense and chewy (not the soft type favored by some), serving as a solid base for the meal. I like this type of bagel. I am not a fan of the soft type.

The only minor letdown was the egg, which I found to be underseasoned, though its neutral taste paired adequately when eaten with the salty bacon. Jen and I shared this plate, and it turned out to be good value for the two of us.

Big Breakfast – RM33.80
Score: 7.27/10
M – Meal Value At RM33.80 for the Big Breakfast, the value is strong given the quality and thickness of the meats provided. Its suitability for sharing makes it an even more economical choice for a casual morning meal.
Score: 7.5/10
V – Venue & Vibes The cafe offers a functional though clean environment in a quieter part of Bandar Puteri. It is a comfortable spot for a relaxed breakfast or a quick tea break. Parking while better than Puteri 1 or 2, remains a hassle.
Score: 6.8/10
X – X-Factor The generous, “jumbo” feel of the protein portions is the standout here. While many places offer thin-cut ham or sparse bacon, the thickness and quantity at Kim’s Bagels make the dish feel notably more substantial.
Score: 7.5/10
