I had arrived at Kelana Centre Point early for a meeting and was in search of lunch. That’s where I saw Le’Parq Bistro. I thought it was a clever name and hoped their food was as good as their name. They state they serve home made sausages but I wasn’t in the mood for sausages that day.
The Sourdough Chicken Ham Pickle sandwich (RM15) was featured as a bestseller on their online menu. Sourdough and Ham and Sandwich are words that I like. The featured picture made it look like a thick sarnie. Memories of the sarnie I had in BKK came flooding back and whetted my appetite. What arrived was quite different from the picture in the menu.

Biting in, the sauces overwhelmed the thinly sliced chicken ham. The only way to overcome this is either use a thicker cut of ham or use sauces that don’t compete for attention. But still I don’t discount there are people who prefer the sandwich to be heavy on the sauce. If that’s how you like your sandwich, this could be the one for you.

However, I did like the fresh lemonade (RM10) at Le’parq Bistro which had the option of not having sugar added to it. Many places don’t offer that option.
Prices are nett.
