Locanda strikes again! Simplicity is elegance. The dishes we had today epitomised that.
The spaghetti seafood for two was succulent at 7/10; the freshness of each mussel, clam, lobster, prawn, squid and fish was prescriptive excellence in the simplest of sauces (tomato).

The red prawn carpaccio was perfection at 7/10.

The squid was good at 7/10

The baby squid soup was my favourite at 7.5/10. This classical Sicilian consommé was exhilarating.

Everything goes well with a single vineyard Barolo. Good times at Locanda continues! What a fresh emblem of Italia deep in the heat of Little India.

My daughter’s duck confit pasta was sophisticated. 7/10
Didn’t expect her to venture to canard so soon; but testament to Locanda’s treatment of this delicate meat- well done
