Chiefeater Pat Lim found the YTF at Segambut Yong Tau Foo to better than he had expected

Chicken Chop, Non-Halal
Loong Hwa Kopitiam had opened several months ago. Chiefeater Gene Ng did an earlier review of it. I found myself there for lunch one day and saw that they had chicken chop. It was a no-brainer as to what I was going to order then.
Jennifer ordered a Lime Butter Chicken Chop (RM19.90+) while I ordered a Hainanese Chicken Chop (RM19.90+)
The Lime Butter Chicken came with the lime butter sauce on the side. The sauce had a good proportion of lime give the butter sauce a nice tanginess. The chicken chop was crispy outside while the meat remained tender and juicy. The chicken was also well seasoned. The cole slaw here has a nice crunchy texture and unlike many central kitchen made slaws which tend to be mushy.

The Hainanese Chicken Chop had a tomato based sauce and topped with lots of green peas and onions. The sauce may have looked runny but it turned out to be quite flavourful. The chicken chop they serve is a good size, so most diners should be satiated by the portion.

It was a good dining experience at Loong Hwa Kopitiam with easy access via the LRT line.
