A friend suggest My Humble Bowl as a place for lunch as it had many good reviews. It was quite busy for a Saturday late lunch, so our hopes were high.

The dishes are premium pricing and seemed pretentious. We asked for a recommendation and the waiter suggested the signature duck, so we ordered a very expensive MYR32 Roast Duck Rice and an equally expensive MYR32 Roast Duck Wantan Mee.

A major let down. The duck at My Humble Bowl was rubbery and the rice is just plain white rice with not much flavour. The wanton mee was also very dense (seems overcooked and not bouncy to the bite), had no wantons nor did it come with any soup.

Fortunately, there are many other really good places for duck rice and noodles elsewhere for half the price.
