Bricks & Butter TGIF Lunch
Indian
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater Joyce Lee had a TGIF lunch at newly opened Bricks & Butter and found the food very yummy, with plans to return for more

Japanese, Non-Halal
Nakamura Bashi in Puchong Jaya was a delightful accidental discovery during a casual stroll. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the prawn tempura. Five generously sized prawns fried to golden perfection, each bite offering that satisfying crunch followed by the natural sweetness of fresh prawn. At RM23.80, it felt like a good deal for the quality offered.

However, the skewers left me less impressed. The squid was very rubbery. The overly sweet sauce that coated them masked the natural flavours of the meat, making them less enjoyable. I’d skip these on my next visit and perhaps explore other offerings instead.

All in all, Nakamura Bashi seems like a spot where certain dishes shine brighter than others. If you go, make a beeline for the tempura—it’s worth it.
