Roast Pork, Non-Halal
Saw a newly opened makan place, Nan Yang Roasted Delight, in early May. So, ajak, my boys, go try out this place - Nan Yang Roasted Delight along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. Less than 2 minutes walk from Sentul Barat MRT Pintu B.
Our order is as below...
1. Dry Wanton Noodles with Poached Kampung Chicken comes with 5 biji Wanton in soup @ RM16.90 per serving. Wanton Noodle tasted ok, and the sauce tasted towards the sweet side, but the Kampung Chicken texture is a bit hard to eat. They have options to choose either Kampung Chicken or normal chicken for the rice but not for noodles.
2. Char Siew & Roasted Pork Rice @ RM8 per serving.
3. Roasted Pork Rice @ RM9 per serving.
4. Cantonese Roasted Duck Rice @ RM8 per serving.
Rice tasted like normal white rice. The aroma and taste are not strong enough compared to other chicken rice. Char Siew & Roasted Pork tasted ok, just the serving a bit less. And the duck also tasted normal with dry texture.
5. Hot Ying Yong @ RM3.50/ cup tasted good so as the Kopi-O Si Bing @ RM3.70/glass. But the 100 Plus selling @ RM4.90/can is way too overpriced. I know I shouldn't complain after ordering.
The above food taste review is purely based on our own preference. Thus, overall, it is still ok to eat if you are not too demanding. Please do head in to try if you happened to be near the shop.
