Pork Chop, Non-Halal
Nanyang Cafe has sprouted up all over Klang Valley and maybe beyond. But the outlet at Nanyang Cafe Sunway Pyramid would probably have the best view among all of them. It overlooks Sunway Lagoon and if you come early enough, you will get the booth seats which give you a window view.

Since it’s an eatery, the food can’t be lacking too. While Nanyang doesn’t get it right for everything, it does get somethings right. The Pork Chop, for sure, is a winner. It did not look good (see the picture above). I took a small bite from my friend’s plate (He asked me to try and I obliged) and it was a winner the moment I bit it. The meat was tender and the flavour was bursting. OK, not bursting but certainly left a pleasant feel.

I had the pig trotter and we shared a plate of fried wantan. Both were good but it is the pork chop that I want to go back to Nanyang for.

Nanyang Cafe Sunway Pyramid is not a small outlet. It seats over 100 pax but it’s a constant revolving door of guests. Come lunch time, the place is packed and there’s even a queue waiting to get in. It’s not a place for one to have a quiet chat.
