Our prelude to Hong Kong - an authentic sampler of its best-loved street food. With its iconic neon & street signs, Nine Dragon Char Chan Teng Starling isn't just window dressing. The beef slices in my koay teow were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and Richard's signature fried rice was all wok hei & packed with lapcheong. The mantou, a deconstructed charsiew pau of sorts, was oh-so-good. Portions were generous and how could you possibly not have fun with a Lǎo fūzǐ placemat?
