Visited this popular chain, Oriental Kopi Sunway Carnival, recently to see what the fuss was about. The interior has a Chinese “Coffee” feel, though it stays busy even during off-peak hours.
The Signature Egg Tart is famous for its thickness; while the size is impressive, the flavor is quite traditional. We also had the Signature Ice Coffee—the froth was overflowing and looked great, though the addition of grass jelly was a bit of an acquired taste for me.
Ice Kacang/Chendol : The quality of the Chendol is good without the “frozen” feel when low quality Chendol is use.
Some of the tables directly under the decor lights can get quite warm/bright, but the staff were accommodating when we requested to move. Might come back to try their main meals next time!
They also have a mini shop at the cashier selling some of their products.
