Pak Hailam Kopitiam Taman Midah may be an underdog, but they do a great job of local fare. The fried noodles were packed with wok hei and my beef rendang was melt-in-your-mouth tender, accompanied by crisp, tangy acar. Chee cheong fun was on the sweet side and could've used a good dose of prawn paste - but otherwise not bad.
