Chiefeater Jaimy Yee had a Hawaiian burger, mushroom soup, steak and mushroom pie and fish and chips at Gravy Baby Queensbay Mall

Western, Pork-Free
I recently visited a new cafe, People’s Park Cafe, that has taken over the former Damansara Jaya Post Office space. The layout is well-designed, perfect for coffee meet-ups or lunch, with ample natural light brightening the interior without making it too hot.
For lunch, I ordered the Hummus with Grilled Chicken, while my friend chose the Striploin & Roesti. The Hummus with Grilled Chicken was delicious, with the chicken grilled to perfection—crispy on the outside yet moist inside. Although the hummus initially appeared oily, the oil blended well with each spoonful, enhancing the flavor.

The Striploin & Roesti was equally impressive. The beef was well-seasoned, juicy, and tender, with a rich flavor profile. It was stir-fried with black pepper, capsicums, and potatoes, and topped with two halves of a runny-yolk egg.

The cafe offers a variety of other options, and I definitely plan to return to try more dishes. Additionally, they provide free water and have an excellent selection of coffee.
