Meiz Bistro Dinner
Western, Pork-Free
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater Mei Lee brought her family out to welcome the New Year with a dinner at Meiz Bistro in Bandar Botanik
Samosa, Street Food, Pork-Free
Since the fare on the MRT Putrajaya was free, we decided to take a train trip on it and head all the way down to Putrajaya Sentral. The stop is next to the ERL line and just opposite the Putrajaya Hospital. That was when we chanced upon a kiosk selling Apam. Unfortunately, they “baru start engine” on the Apam burner so were not ready to serve it yet.
The Samosa Ayam or Chicken Samosa was ready so we had that instead. At RM5 for 4 pieces, I thought that was a good deal. Each piece was actually a good size. But biting into it was where the magic was. It was a multi layered pastry with a very nice bite. While the chicken was so finely minced that it was almost not evident, I didn’t mind it. I actually liked it how flavourful it was. It may be a tad oily but sometimes you have to live a little.
The kiosk at Putrajaya Sentral will be closed during the Ramadhan season and will only operate in the evening at the Putrajaya Bazaar Ramadhan.
