Moo Point Steaks Penang served an excellent rump cap and beautifully marbled Wagyu sirloin in an intimate Hutton Lane setting

Japanese Curry, Chicken Katsu, Pork-Free
I had chanced upon Ratatouille Gourmet earlier and decided to head there for lunch when I was in OUG one weekend. Their menu had a wide variety of options but I opted for their set lunch.
For a modest RM9.90, the Japanese curry rice set lunch unfolded like a culinary tapestry. A bowl of soup, a side, and a refreshing iced lemon tea accompanied the Japanese curry rice. Intrigued by the promise of affordable indulgence, I decided to elevate the experience further by adding a chicken katsu for an additional RM5.

The curry was a good blend of sweet and savoury. The richness of the curry sauce paired seamlessly with the flavour of the chicken katsu. The chicken meat was slightly dry but it would be due to the cut of meat.

The accompanying soup, a surprise burst of flavour, proved to be a highlight. What set it apart was its delectable taste, free from the typical MSG-heavy notes found in many establishments.
Washing down the flavourful ensemble was a cool glass of iced lemon tea.
At just RM14.90 for the whole meal, Ratatouille Gourmet showcased a commitment to offering value for money without compromising on taste. The katsu may have arrived a bit after the rice but at such good value, is there room to complain?
