Hokkien Mee, Non-Halal
We came back to Restaurant Gold Dragon City for the sang har mee and hokkien mee. To be honest, we saw the table next to us having these ala carte while we had the set menu.
The prawn noodles was fine at 6.5/10, partly bcos they only had smaller river prawns today (sold out). Also the gravy was slightly under flavoured.
The Hokkien Mee was good at 7/10 and is indeed a good recommendation, packing full wokhei flavours.
Also, I’ve noticed their seafood is supreme. Today we had the long tan (dragon grouper) in claypot - which was marvellous. The day before, we had the finesse of their steamed star grouper (Tung sing pan).
