Long Yan Seafood Restaurant Lunch

Chiefeater Howard Chan had a lovely lunch at Long Yan Seafood Restaurant after an enjoyable ride to Port Dickson before heading home

Chinese, Non-Halal
On our return trip from the Island, we stop at our usual place for lunch in Tapah. This place is very easy to locate as it is about 2 km from the Tapah toll gate.
After so many years, we still get very decent food. We had a wild caught Ikan Buang or Pak So Kung at 70 per kg, fresh wild frog with ginger and spring onion, kung po eel, pig intestines with dried prawns and braised pig's tail with peanuts. All in with a pot of Chinese tea comes to RM194 including tax.

Double corner shoplot that is airy and decent toilets. They have many other types of fish and dishes too. If you like petai, then you should go for it. What we love is that they engage some local orang asli to work for them instead of other foreign workers. We consider this as a better pit stop then the Tapah RnR which is always so crowded. Hope you will enjoy this if you ever need to travel 368 km or more to the south of Peninsula.
