Lucky Seng Restaurant Choy Kiok

Chiefeater Luke Soon managed to get to Lucky Seng Restaurant to sample the roast chicken and char siew but the winner was the Choy Kiok

Nasi Lemak, Street Food, Pork-Free
A stop at the Nasi Lemak stall at Restoran Sin Daima Hokkien resulted in a generous spread for RM25, featuring an array of richly flavoured dishes. The highlight? The prawn petai sambal. It not only delivered on taste but also carried the health benefits of petai.
The prawn petai sambal was aromatic, spicy, and nicely balanced. The petai (stink beans) added an earthy depth to the dish, complementing the small but juicy prawns and the fiery sambal. The petai’s slightly bitter undertone was tamed by the sweetness of the prawns and the savoury elements of the sambal.

The other items in my packed meal included a tender beef rendang which was also enjoyable. All the items above came in at RM25 which was enough for Jen and I.
