Pork Noodles, Street Food, Non-Halal
The most popular and beloved stall at Restoran Yap Kopitiam is undoubtedly the Pork Noodles. The ingredients are very fresh, with each bowl of noodles containing minced pork, pork slices, pork liver, sausage, and pork lard. Diners can also choose additional ingredients like pork tendons, pork kidneys, and eggs.
To amplify the enjoyment of this bowl of pork noodles, I invited the administrator of the #Kepong Foodies Sharing Group and a representative from the #Foodies of Singapore and Malaysia JB Group to try it. I ordered their signature claypot dry rat noodles and yi noodles.
The noodles are well-coated with the sauce and very flavourful, much like braised noodles, which suits our taste buds perfectly. Following that, I had to have the traditional clear pork soup noodles. The broth is sweet and clear, with the pork liver and kidneys perfectly cooked and tender, paired with pork lard-tossed noodles, it's a perfect combination!
If you happen to pass by or accidentally take a detour to Batu Caves, fellow foodies, you can also go to Restoran Yap Kopitiam and enjoy a bowl.
