If you’re looking for simple, cheap, comforting food done right, Yuan Fong delivers a satisfying experience with familiar flavours that feels like home.

Braised pork rice bowl (RM15.00/ea) topped with a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg offers rich, savoury goodness in every bite.

The Handmade Dumpling Noodles with Hot Soup (RM14.00/ea), brings balance to the meal with its light, flavourful broth, silky mi xian noodles, and fresh vegetables. The fried fu chuk adds an enjoyable texture which complements it nicely.

To complete the spread, we had a Polo Bun with Kaya Butter (RM6.80/ea), provides a slight golden crunch on the outside while staying soft and buttery within — a simple treat that rounds off the meal nicely.

The iced coffee (RM4.60/ea) was decent. Definitely a place for “yum cha”. It is a spot worth returning again.
