Chinese New Year
Sek Yuen Restaurant (适苑酒家) is one of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest and most iconic culinary institutions, legendary for preserving the art of traditional Cantonese wood-fired cooking since 1948. Located on Jalan Pudu, the restaurant is a living heritage site where generations of families gather for authentic “old-school” flavors that are increasingly rare in the modern dining scene. For the 2026 Year of the Horse, Sek Yuen continues its tradition of excellence by offering festive menus that feature their time-honored signatures, such as the famous Pei Pa Duck and handmade Yee Sang, providing a nostalgic and heart-warming reunion experience.
Sek Yuen Restaurant offers three distinct set menus for the 2026 festive season, each available in portions for either 6 or 10 persons. Please note that orders must be placed at least two days in advance.
Tea and water are included in the set price. Prices do not include 6% government tax.
