Chiefeater Pat Lim found the YTF at Segambut Yong Tau Foo to better than he had expected

Chicken Chop, Breakfast, Non-Halal
It was a second visit to Smores Puchong. The last visit, we found the pizza to be a winner. This time it was for lunch.
Jen, being in the mood for a light yet hearty meal, opted for their Light Brekkie (RM22.80++) which is a vegetarian friendly dish. The meal came with 2 pieces of sourdough bread, scrambled eggs, salad and guac. The sourdough bread stole the show with its dense and well-hydrated texture. It provided a hearty yet healthy medley of ingredients, leaving Jen pleased with her choice.

I couldn’t resist trying the cajun chicken chop (RM24.90++). A tantalizing dish that held a promise of bold flavours. The chicken, generously seasoned with cajun spices, certainly delivered on taste, leaving me impressed with each bite. However, I must admit that I found the meat a tad tough for my liking. Despite the slight setback, the well-seasoned chicken chop made up for it to a large extent. Since I took the set lunch option, it came with a choice of having a side or a bottomless green tea beverage. I chose the edamame.

They current promotion at Smores Puchong is beverages like beer and wine are priced at RM13.90++ per glass before 7 pm. The wine is not a bad deal at all as the usual price is RM29++
They also have a dine in promo on wine and pizza. Order a bottle of wine and you get a pizza free.
Getting here by train. While there is no train that links here directly, there is a Trek van that commutes between Rio and the Taman Perindustrian Puchong LRT station.
